As a Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and testing of innovative mechanical systems for space applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced mechanisms and deployable technologies that will power future space missions.

Responsibilities:                           
  • Daily, you will be solving problems – most likely ones that no one has run into before
  • Your work will directly impact the success of our space missions and enable the deployment of critical components in orbit
  • Producing breadboards and GSEs, design and implement experiments to validate design
  • Producing engineering drawings and coordinate production of mechanical parts with external suppliers
  • Technical documentation and participate in reviews with external stakeholders
  • Additionally, you will collaborate with a highly skilled team in a dynamic and innovative work environment, fostering both personal and professional growth
Das bringst Du mit
  • Bachelor’s or Master´s in mechanical engineering  
  • Proven work experience in R&D environment
  • Mechanical design and analysis using CAD and FEM tools  
  • Produce breadboards and GSEs, design and implement experiments to validate design
  • Produce engineering drawings and coordinate production of mechanical parts with external suppliers  
  • Participate in the preparation of test plans & campaigns for mechanical systems 
  • Produce technical documentation and participate in reviews with external stakeholders  
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a dynamic and rapid-paced environment 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment  
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Fluent in English  
  • Eligible to work in Germany
