Then meet us, Dcubed, a NewSpace SME based in Munich (Germany) and Denver (CO, USA). We are looking for a Junior Business Development (f/m/d) colleague for our rapidly expanding space tech business.

Your ideal background is a mix of technical education and business understanding. You will be using your potential engineering or space industry background to foster trusted business relationships with technical buyers, chief engineers and CTOs. If you are already working in BD and/or in technical hardware sales, we want to hear from you. We will want to hear how you've won over new and returning customers with your tenacity, persistence, convincing communications and technical expertise. 

You will be the backbone of our pipeline, ensuring we have hot leads turning into business outcome. Your everyday work will consist of researching, contacting, and following up with businesses both small and large to develop relationships and expand Dcubed’s customers’ network, a truly key role in shaping the trajectory of the company's future. You will also be the face of Dcubed at conferences, events, and customer sites.

You will learn the ins and outs of our patented space tech which enables our customers to get to space faster, better and cheaper. Here is what you bring to the table
As a person, you have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You have a strong urgency to take initiative, complete tasks and have a measurable impact on the business. You pay close attention to detail and have solid organization and prioritization skills, and you strive for excellence.

Must-haves:
  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in an engineering field
  • Experience in working with hardware (space HW or other high-precision industry products preferred)
  • 2+ years of business or technical sales experience in customer interface
  • Willingness to travel for business trips/conferences/events
  • Fluent in English is a requirement for our diverse team environment, German is a bonus
  • Residence and work permit in Germany
Nice-to-haves:
  • Background in space industry
  • 2+ years of technical engineering - strong plus
  • A large network of space contacts, preferably from NewSpace technology/hardware companies
  • CRM experience (preferably with Hubspot)
In this role, your compensation model is base + commission. Your direct reporting line will be to the Senior Sales and BD Manager.

We provide a hybrid work model along with flexible working hours, empowering you as the owner of your time management. Remote work is offered, but willingness to work from our Munich office is appreciated.
