Role

Responsible for the end-to-end system design, integration and qualification of ISM tech demos and ISM solar array customer products

 

Your Mission

  • Support the development of DCUBED's world first in-space manufacturing (ISM) technology
  • Work with the PMs and a multidisciplinary technical team to design technical system architectures for tech demo missions and customer products
  • Plan system requirements to comply with customer and ECSS / NASA specifications, including component-level requirements
  • Create systems verification plans and design verification activities
  • Manage interfaces between subsystems  
  • Maintain technical budgets for the system
  • Prepare technical documentation and participate in stakeholders' meetings
Here is what you bring to the table

Your Background

  • BS / MS degree in Engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical or a related subject)
  • 5+ years of experience with space system development or satellite systems design
  • Knowledge of engineering standards used in space industry (eg ECSS, MIL)
  • Knowledge/experience of system engineering processes
  • Knowledge of space environment
  • Fluent in English

 

Nice to Have Requirements

  • Proven record of successful flight of satellite missions in a system engineering role
  • Understanding of structures, thermal control, and electrical systems
  • Comfortable coding in Python
  • Skilled with data visualization and sharing of information
